Abby Sundeen is a writer and a linguist from Buffalo, New York. She didn't anticipate that writing would become such a huge part of her life when she wrote a silly story about squirrels in the third grade, at least not until her English teachers encouraged her budding passion. Fiction helped her through the stresses of middle and high school, and then college, and now is a core part of her life. She writes to escape, to create, and to imagine.

Usually you'll find her posted up in a cafe, aggressively shaking an iced coffee. When she's not agonizing over word choice, she's likely working towards her fourth degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, trying to become a decent fencer, learning another language, or finding dogs in her neighborhood to pet.

She also runs a Discord server, and has since June of 2020! Tripping the Write Fantastic started out as a what-if but now has a full zine and a large group of people who have all come together to (occasionally) write. It is open to all potential members, always!
